Abstract

Three new alkaloids, picrasidines W (1), X (2) and Y (3), were isolated from the wood of Picrasma quassioides bennet (Simaroubaceae). Their structures were determined by spectral and chemical evidence. Previously isolated picrasidine Q (4) was unambiguously determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis. © 1993, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
