Three new bisbenzylisoquinolines, alpha'-oxoperakensimines A - C (1 - 3) have been isolated from the bark of Alseodaphne perakensis (Gamble) Kosterm (Lauraceae). Their structures were elucidated by two-dimensional NMR techniques. alpha'-Oxoperakensimines A - C (1 - 3) showed vasorelaxant activity on rat aorta.
