Gracinine, a new C-19 diterpenoid alkaloid bearing a C-12 functionality, was isolated from Delphinium gracile DC, together with the known bases gadesine, dihydrogadesine and nudicaulidine. The structure of the new compound was established by means of 1H- and 13C-nmr spectroscopy. © 1986.
