Two novel prenylated flavones, 3,5,4'-trihydroxy-8,3'-dimethoxy-7-(3-methylbut-2-enoxy)flavone and 3,5,8,4'-tetrahydroxy-7,3'-dimethoxy-6-(3-methylbut-2-enyl)flavone have been isolated from the aerial parts of Melicope micrococca (Rutaceae) together with the known compounds, quercetin 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, isorhamnetin 3-O-rutinoside, the acridone alkaloid arborinine, sitosterol 3 beta-O-glucopyranoside (daucosterol) and 5-O-methyl-myo-inositol (sequoyitol).
