Leaves of Nauclea lati folia yield 0,08°/o of alkaloids, some of them are naufoline and angustine already found in the root bark of this plant. The structure of the new product naulafine is proved by spectroscopical evidences. Two glyco-alkaloids 3a-dihydrocadambine and cadambine are also present.
