Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Papillamide (1), a novel fatty acid amide that incorporates a cyclopropyl ring, was isolated from the Okinawan red alga Laurencia papillosa, which overgrows hermatypic corals. The structure of 1 was determined by spectroscopic analyses.
