In addition to (-)-culantraramine and (-)-culantraraminol the bishofdeninyl terpene alkaloids, (-)-culantraramine N-oxide, (-)-culantraraminol N-oxide and avicennamine, have been isolated from the leaves of Zanthoxylum avicennae.
