Three Amaryllidaceae alkaloids have been isolated from whole plants of Narcissus radinganorum. Two of them, homolycorine (1) and 8-O-demethylhomolycorine (2) are known, and 9-O-demethylmaritidine (4) is reported here for the first time. Four alkaloids, erysotine (9), erythratidine (10), epi-erythratidine (11), and 11-hydroxy-epi-erythratidine (12) have been characterised in Erythrina variegata bark in addition to those previously reported.
