<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>Two new metabolites have been isolated from cultures of <jats:italic>Chaetomium globosum</jats:italic>. The structures of 19‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐acetylchaetoglobosin B (<jats:bold>4</jats:bold>) and 19‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐acetylchaetoglobosin D (<jats:bold>5</jats:bold>) are assigned. The <jats:sup>13</jats:sup>C‐NMR. spectra of chaetoglobosin A (<jats:bold>1</jats:bold>), 19‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐acetylchaetoglobosin A (<jats:bold>2</jats:bold>), chaetoglobosin C (<jats:bold>3</jats:bold>), 19‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐acetylchaetoglobosin B (<jats:bold>4</jats:bold>), 19‐<jats:italic>O</jats:italic>‐acetylchaetoglobosin D (<jats:bold>5</jats:bold>) and of cytochalasin G (<jats:bold>6</jats:bold>), a (3‐indolyl)‐[11]cytochalasan isolated from <jats:italic>Pseudeurotium zonatum</jats:italic>, have been interpreted.
