Abstract

The aerial parts of Anthemis pseudocotula afforded four new seco-germacranolides and a pair of degraded epimeric lactones. Three of these compounds were isolated from A. indurata. The structures were elucidated by high field 'H NMR spectroscopy. The aerial parts of Gutenbergia cordifolia gave five known and five new germacranolides. Structures were elucidated by high field 'H NMR spectroscopy.
