Abstract

The fractionation of the ether soluble alkaloids contained in the residual bases of aconitum napellus yielded two new alkaloids, neoline[formula omitted] and napelline[formula omitted] as the main constituents together with traces of l-ephedrine and sparteine. All four alkaloids must be considered as genuine aconitum alkaloids. © 1937, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
