Abstract

5-azidouridine-5'-triphosphate and UDP-pyridoxal have been synthesized using modified synthetic methods. The two synthetic UTP analogues, with commercially available analogues and chemicals have been tested for their effect on CPSase II in the mammalian multienzyme polypeptide CAD. Structure activity relationships are discussed.
