Abstract

Drupangtonine (1), a novel Cephalotaxus alkaloid, has been isolated from Cephalotaxus harringtonia var. drupacea, and its structure has been elucidated based on spectroscopic analyses. Compound 1 strongly inhibits the growth of P-388 leukemia cells.
