Delstaphisinine 111 and 1-acetyldelphisine 151, new C,,diterpenoid alkaloids, have been isolated from the seeds of Delphinium staphisagria. The structures have been determined with the aid ofmass, 'H-, and 13C-nmr spectroscopy and were confirmed by correlation with alkaloids of established structures and preparation of derivatives. The structure of the recently isolated delstaphisine [91 has also been confirmed.
