Delstaphisinine [1] and 1-acetyldelphisine [5], new C19-diterpenoid alkaloids, have been isolated from the seeds of Delphinium staphisagria. The structures have been determined with the aid of mass, 1H-, and 13C-nmr spectroscopy and were confirmed by correlation with alkaloids of established structures and preparation of derivatives.
