Cyclopeptide from the seeds of Annona squamosa

Abstract

From the seeds of Annona squamosa a new cyclopeptide, annosquamosin A (cyclo-(prolyl-S-oxomethyl-thry1-a1ary1-iso1eucy1-va1y1-g1ycy1-tyry1), has been isolated. The structure was elucidated by chemical and spectra1 methods.
