From the combined alkaloids of Vinca erecta collected in the flowering and fruit-bearing period in the Osh oblast, we obtained nitrates of bases and separated the residual mother liquor (130 g) into 11 fractions according to solubility in water and 10% citric and sulfuric acids. From the water-soluble fraction via chloroform treatment, a 6 g base with mp 285-287°C (decomp., methanol) was obtained, identified as pseudocopsinine methochloride based on IR spectrum (disubstituted benzene ring at 770 cm⁻¹, indole chromophore at 1610 cm⁻¹, ester carbonyl at 1720 cm⁻¹, NH group at 3410 cm⁻¹), NMR spectrum (additional -N-CH₃ signal at 3.57 ppm), positive halogen reaction, and mass spectrum (ions m/e 352 (M - HC1)⁺, 388 (max.) (M - CH₃C1)⁺). The second base isolated from the neutral fraction of combined alkaloids collected in the flowering period in the Tashkent oblast was identified as minovincinine.
