A new nonglycosidic secoiridoid, ligstral, and two new secoiridoid diglucosides, angustifolioside A [6''-O-(β-D-glucopyranosyl)-oleuropein] and angustifolioside B [6''-O-(β-D-glucopyranosyl)-ligstroside], were isolated from the methanolic extract of the leaves of Fraxinus angustifolia along with the two known secoiridoid glucosides, ligstroside and oleuropein. The chemical structures of the isolated compounds were established by chemical and spectral evidence.
