Abstract

A new glycoside of 3-nitropropanol, 3-nitro-1-propyl-β-D-laminaribioside, has been isolated from the aerial portions of Astragalus miser var. serotinus. Its structure was established by spectroscopic studies which compared closely related glucosides of 3-nitropropanol.
