Abstract

Two novel aporphine alkaloids, named 6a,7-dehydro-1,2-dimethoxy-7- hydroxy-N-methylaporphine (1) and 6a,7-dehydro-1,2-dimethoxy-7- hydroxyaporphine (2), have been isolated from the stem bark of E. chlorantha.
