Abstract

From the leaves of Lunasia amara Blanco there was isolated an alkaloid which did not correspond to any of the previously reported Lunasia alkaloids. It was identified as 4-methoxy-2-phenylquinolme. This substance has not hitherto been reported to occur in nature. © 1957, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
