From the bark and leaves of Kopsia lapidilecta seven indole alkaloids were isolated. Three are known: venalstonine 111, lapidilectine A 121, and lapidilectine B [3]. The other four are new and possess the same skeleton as lapidilectine A 121; the new alkaloids are isolapidilectine 141, lapidilectam [51, lapidilectinol161, and epilapidilectinol [v. The configuration ofC-2 and C-20 oflapidilectine A 121 is revised. All the structures were elucidated chieffy by 2D nmr analysis.
