Abstract

The new glycoalkaloid haplosinine has been isolated from the epigeal part of Haplophyllum perforatum (M. B.) Kar. et Kir., and its structure has been established on the basis of chemcial transformations and a comparative analysis of its 13C NMR spectra with those of known compounds as haplopine 7-O-[O-~-Dglucopyranosyl-(l ~ 3)-a-L-rhamnopyranoside].
