The plant Haplophyllum perforatum Kar. et Kir. (Rutaceae) is widely distributed throughout central Asia and is a rich source of quinolinic alkaloids. Alkaloids of the above-ground part collected during budding in the Kitabsk region of Kashkadar'insk district were studied. The ground dry material was extracted with CH3OH, fractionated into basic, acidic, and neutral fractions, and purified by column chromatography. Known alkaloids evoxine, skimmianine, haplophyllidine, haplopine, anhydroperforine, flindersine, and haplamine were isolated, along with a new alkaloid acetylhaplophyllidine (C20H25NO5). The new alkaloid was identified by UV, IR, mass, and PMR spectra and direct comparison with an authentic sample. Thus, these alkaloids, including the new acetylhaplophyllidine, were isolated from the above-ground part of H. perforatum.
